RSS How to have main forum on home page?

So, I ended up purchasing a theme and have been clunkily trying to get it where I want. Like how the AVSForum has a bunch of topics listed when you go to their homepage, I would like people that visit my site: www.phogpolitics.com to see the main forum instead of being presented with which forum to open (provided they are registered). This is because I will only have one main forum for now so if there's only one forum, there's no need to add extra steps if that makes sense...
